Speaking Engagements

Contractors are one of the most heavily groups of licensed professionals in the state of Florida, and new statutes, cases, and licensing regulations come out all the time. This shifting environment can be difficult to keep up with, even for the most diligent contractors. And as someone who spent 10 years in construction before becoming an attorney, I have personally experienced the impact of regularly change laws on the construction industry, and the lack of regular and updated information on those changes.

To help ease this problem for today’s contractors, I am happy to schedule speaking engagements nationwide to educate contractors on new laws, trends in construction and the law, and—from a practical perspective—how to deal with these changes and implement them in a meaningful, but business-appropriate way. When I give a presentation to a group of contractors, a collections team, or even a small construction office, it’s more than just a recitation of new laws. I want to bring a sense of humor and a sense of practical advice, not just a laundry list of things to do or not do.
